Description
This full leaf variety of certified organic green tea is organically grown in the Hunan province, of south central China. Often referred to by its common name Chunmee, we fairly source this tea directly from the growing cooperative in this region. Abundant in antioxidants, it has a bold and balanced green tea flavour, with subtle hints of smokiness, reminiscent of the pan firing process it undergoes in production.
The Love Tea range is Certified Organic, fairly traded, completely biodegradable and hand packed in Melbourne.
Brewing
Place a heaped teaspoon (2 grams) of tea per cup (250ml) into a teapot or infuser. Add filtered water at 70ºc–80ºc and allow to infuse for 2–3 minutes. Strain the tea and serve.

Packaging
The clear pouch that holds this tea is made from a renewable plant-based cellophane and can easily be home composted.
The cardboard is made from post-consumer recycled board, is printed with vegetable-based inks and can also be home composted after use.
